These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the educational services, website, and learning platform provided by Academy of Global Education Shkola LLC (“the School”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Access to educational materials is provided for the duration of the program as confirmed at the time of enrollment. The specific format, grade level, schedule, and pricing applicable to a student are confirmed in writing at enrollment.
2. Enrollment and the Free Trial
The School offers a 3-day free trial with no payment required and no obligation to continue. The trial provides full access to live lessons, the Buzz platform, and an assigned personal advisor. Participation in the trial does not constitute enrollment and does not obligate the family to make any payment.
Enrollment is confirmed upon successful payment processing as described in Section 3. The Agreement between the Provider and the Customer becomes effective at that point.
3. Payment Terms
Payment methods and processing
All payments are made directly to DIGISTUDENTS LTD via bank transfer or electronic payment methods (including Stripe) as specified on the Provider’s website. The Customer agrees to pay all fees associated with the selected program as indicated at the time of enrollment. Services are rendered only after full payment has been received, unless otherwise expressly stated in a written installment agreement.
Payment schedule and prepayment discounts
Tuition is billed monthly by default. Families who prepay in advance receive the following discounts applied to the base monthly rate:
- 3-month prepayment: 3% discount
- 6-month prepayment: 5% discount
- 9-month prepayment: 7% discount
Discounts are not cumulative and apply only to the prepaid period. A 10% sibling discount applies to the second and any subsequent child from the same household enrolled simultaneously.
Installment plans
An installment plan is available for tutoring and AP course fees where expressly agreed in writing before the start of the relevant service period.
4. Internal Scholarship Program
The School operates a weekly internal scholarship for enrolled students. Students who meet full attendance and academic compliance requirements receive a scholarship credit redeemable as a discount on tuition or on partner marketplaces. The scholarship program parameters are subject to change with reasonable prior notice to enrolled families.
5. Cancellation, Termination, and Refunds
Cancellation by the Customer
The Customer may terminate the Agreement at any time by submitting a written withdrawal request by email to hello@shkolaonline.com. Refunds for unused prepaid periods are governed by the Provider’s Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms and is available on request.
Termination by the Provider
The Provider reserves the right to terminate the Agreement and suspend access to the program in the following cases:
- Violation of the platform’s code of conduct
- Academic dishonesty
- Non-payment or chargeback
- Any other material breach of these Terms
6. Academic Records, Transcripts, and Diplomas
The School maintains official academic records for all enrolled students. Upon completion of the required credits, students receive a U.S. High School Diploma and an official transcript bearing the ACS WASC accreditation seal. Official documents are issued only upon written request from the student or their parent or legal guardian. The School does not guarantee specific admission outcomes at any institution.
7. Platform Access and Acceptable Use
Access to the Buzz learning platform is granted to the enrolled student only and may not be shared with third parties. Students and families agree to use the platform solely for lawful educational purposes and to comply with academic integrity and code of conduct policies communicated at enrollment.
The following are prohibited: sharing login credentials; recording or distributing live lesson content without written permission; submitting work that is not the student’s own without disclosure; and any behavior that disrupts lessons or negatively affects other students.
8. Parental Responsibility and Minor Students
Enrollment agreements are entered into by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of the student. The enrolling parent or guardian represents that they have the legal authority to enter into this agreement and to consent to the collection and processing of the student’s personal data in accordance with the Provider’s Privacy Policy and GDPR.
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their child attends scheduled lessons, completes assigned work, and behaves in accordance with the School’s conduct standards. The School’s advisor team will contact the parent or guardian directly if attendance or academic performance falls below expected levels.
9. Intellectual Property
All course materials, lesson recordings, assessments, and platform content are the intellectual property of the Provider or its content licensors. Students and families may use these materials solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. Reproduction, distribution, or resale of any course content without written permission is prohibited.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Provider’s liability for any claim related to this Agreement shall be limited to the total amount of fees paid by the Customer for the relevant program. The Provider shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, or for disruptions caused by third-party platform outages, internet connectivity issues, or circumstances outside the Provider’s reasonable control.
11. Modifications to These Terms
The School may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled families by email with reasonable prior notice before taking effect. Continued enrollment after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
