Why Students Add
a US High School Diploma

Keep your existing education — add US accreditation on top. Two diplomas open doors that one alone never could.

01

Global University Access

A US diploma is recognized by universities in the USA, UK, Canada, Europe, and Asia. A domestic diploma alone significantly limits international options.

40+ Countries represented
800+ Universities our graduates attend
02

Stronger College Preparation

The US curriculum builds critical thinking, academic essay writing, and research skills — exactly what international universities look for and what most local school systems don't emphasize.

Essays Academic writing
Projects Critical thinking
03

Real English Fluency

All subjects are taught in English by certified instructors — native speakers and bilingual educators from the USA, UK, and Canada. Students reach fluency through academic work, not just language lessons.

100% English instruction

04

Dual Credentials on Every Application

Two diplomas set your child apart from every local peer. On international university applications, dual credentials signal genuine academic ambition, proven English proficiency, and global readiness.

Credit Transfer Built In

We evaluate your current school records and transfer applicable credits directly to the US system. Typically 14–16 out of 24 required credits transfer — you only complete what's genuinely missing.

What You'll Study

Your existing school already covers most of what the US diploma requires. You only complete the subjects that are genuinely different — focused on areas where the two systems don't overlap.

English Language Arts

Literature, essays, academic writing, presentations. Develop college-level English fluency through real coursework — not language drills.

4 credits required

US History & Government

American history, the Constitution, the political system. Required for the US diploma and not covered in other national school systems.

2 credits required

Science Electives

Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science. AP options available for students targeting competitive universities.

2–3 credits needed

Mathematics

Most math credits transfer directly from your existing school. You may add Statistics or Calculus depending on your university targets.

4 credits — most transfer

Electives & AP

Fill remaining credits with subjects that interest you. AP courses significantly strengthen college applications and may earn university credit upon admission.

Varies by student

Health & PE

Health education completed online. Physical Education requirement met through documented physical activities or sports your child already does.

Support Every Step of the Way

A dedicated team helps students balance their existing school and US diploma requirements — without burning out.

  • Direct communication channel for parents
  • Schedule coordination with your existing school

Yes. SHKOLA is fully accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) — one of the most respected accreditation bodies in the United States. WASC accreditation is recognised by universities worldwide and confirms that our curriculum meets the same rigorous academic standards as Stanford and UCLA.

Yes. Our U.S. High School Diploma is recognised by colleges and universities throughout the United States and can be used for university admissions both in the US and internationally. WASC accreditation ensures acceptance across all 50 states.

Yes. Our graduates attend 800+ universities worldwide, including Ivy League institutions, Russell Group universities in the UK, and top Canadian and European universities. Our college counselling team guides every student through the application process. We recommend checking with your target university whether they accept online school diplomas, as policies vary.

Yes. We offer a free 3-day trial period — not just a single lesson. Your child completes a diagnostic test, attends trial classes, and receives detailed teacher feedback. Parents see our individualised approach firsthand. No payment required upfront.

In most cases, you can start learning at any time throughout the year without waiting for a group intake. We offer flexible start dates to accommodate your family's schedule.

You will need: (1) educational records — report card or academic transcript, and (2) identity document / passport. Our admissions team will guide you through the simple enrolment process.

Since all instruction is in English, students need English language proficiency. We assess language level during the free diagnostic and can recommend preparatory English courses if needed before starting the main programme.

Yes — we accept students from around the world and currently teach students from 40+ countries. At least basic English proficiency is required for comfortable communication with teachers and curators.

Students need: a computer or laptop, a stable internet connection, and a webcam and microphone. That is all — no additional purchases are required. All learning materials are included in tuition and accessible through the BUZZ platform.

It depends on your chosen format. Group format: fixed schedule (evening shift from 16:45). Self-Study, Flexible, and Individual formats: adapted to your schedule and time zone.

Yes, all classes are recorded. If your student misses a live group lesson, they can watch the full recording on the BUZZ platform at any convenient time. No learning time is ever lost.

We maintain a maximum of 6 students per teacher in group classes. This ensures every student receives real attention, teachers immediately notice who is struggling, and there is no hiding behind a muted screen. Everyone participates, everyone progresses.

Yes. We offer accelerated formats for motivated students who want to complete their diploma faster. Discuss your timeline with our admissions team during the free consultation.

The programme adapts to your child. Depending on the reason for falling behind, we will propose a solution: transfer to a different group, additional support lessons, or an adjusted schedule. No student is left behind without a plan.

Every student has a personal curator from day one — a mentor who tracks attendance, monitors progress, and supports motivation. If a student is late or misses a lesson, the curator contacts them directly. If no response, they contact the parents. Curators are people who genuinely care about children and know how to work with each age group.

Curators send parents a weekly Progress Report that includes: percentage score (0–100), letter grade (A–F), number of completed assignments, and direct feedback from teachers. Parents are always fully informed — no surprises at the end of term.

We minimise parent involvement by design. Parents do not need to help with homework, and curators independently ensure students attend class. Younger students may occasionally need help logging into the platform. If you choose the self-study format without a curator, parental oversight is recommended.

Yes. Monthly payment is available. In many US schools, tuition is paid annually upfront — at SHKOLA you can pay month by month. Payment is accepted via Stripe or bank transfer.

Yes. The following discounts apply:

  • 10% discount for the second and each subsequent child from the same family
  • 3% discount when paying for 3 months at once
  • 5% discount when paying for 6 months at once
  • 7% discount when paying for 9 months at once

Note: discounts cannot be combined.

No hidden fees or additional charges are included in the base tuition. All learning materials are included. Optional add-ons — such as extra subjects, AP courses, or SAT/IELTS preparation classes — are available at separate rates.

Yes. All enrolment is based on an official service agreement that clearly outlines terms of service, payment conditions, and refund policy. You receive a copy of the contract before any payment is made.
